The people of Bayankhadan have always been cautious folk, with one ear to the ground, and a finger in the wind. Bayar, cousin of Bortei is no exception. He brings news of the empire to your attention, and dispatches orders to the horde.

Honjo, the Captain of the Royal guard, practices all he pursues with single-mindedness – the art of the sword as well as the art of calligraphy. He sees the Mongols as invaders, but has been instructed to be at the Khan’s disposal.

Boorchu comes from Boorhai and is Bailin’s cousin. Boorchu combines earnesty with just being staunch. He is profoundly loyal as well as stubborn. A big man, he enjoys snacks a bit too much and always carries something to munch.

Chilaun the Black is from Cravesh. A mysterious figure, he confides in no one and never shows fear. His personal philosophy is peculiar - even frightening - but he is deeply loyal to the Great Khan and his cause.

A graduate from the academy at Yeseong, Yo Myeong is Yeong Hee’s clever cousin. Known for his radical ideas, he is insightful about politics and warfare. He seeks peace with the Great Khan, hoping to secure a safe future for all of Goryeo.
